Born in Ala Mhigo to a Legion Officer and a Monk of the Fists of Rhalgr, Dakrom was destined for great things. All changed when the Ala Mhigan Revolution broke out and the Garlean Occupation drove him away from his home.

Alone and orphaned, Dakrom eventually found refuge in a small hunting camp deep in the forest of the Black Shroud where he lived and learned how to survive beneath the towering trees of the Elementals.

After almost two decades, he decided to go out into the greater world to find answers. To find purpose.

When he arrived in the gates of Gridania and passed through the doors of the Adventurer's Guild, he has no idea of the grand journey that the Crystal has destined for him. A journey that would take him from humble beginnings, the darkest of paths and into the annals of legends.
