Character

Aurora arrived in Eorzea with her brother, Theron, at the start of the 7th umbral era. Orphaned in Gyr Abania, both of them fended for themselves while young, learning to live off the land by hunting and gathering. Upon reaching Eorzea, Theron would get hired as a retainer in Ul'dah by adventurer Rose Inbloom while Aurora travelled to Gridania to join the Archer's guild. A lover of folk music, her dream had always been to become a Bard and sing throughout the Twelveswood.

Aurora has always felt as one with nature, going as far as believing that the land itself speaks to her. She has always been content with being alone, considering nature itself as her companion. Aurora considers Gridania and the Black Shroud her home, and spends most of her time there. She hates the monetaristic culture of the big cities and only visits places such as Ul'dah when she absolutely has to.

After joining a party of adventurers to clear the Tam Tara Deepcroft, she took a short break from adventuring, only to be pulled back in because of the threat primals posed to the land. It was then that she decided to experiment with other jobs. She also took up a Lance, and after an impressive display of skill in Halatali, and later in the Stone Vigil, she was honored by the Wood Wailers and The Azure Dragoon of Coerthas, respectively. She would go on to slay Ifrit and then join both the Scions and the Twin Adder.

After Theron introduced Rose Inbloom to Aurora, Rose in turn introduced Aurora to her mentor Sapphire Bloodstorm. The two found alot in common and became fast friends, both of them later spending alot of time together. It was Sapphire who suggested that Aurora look into joining the conjurers guild, given her relationship with nature. Aurora would follow by becoming a highly successful White Mage shortly after, and go on to balance that with Thaumaturgy.

Aurora is seen as a young, innocent girl but she is tough, resilient, and more than meets the eye. When not in battle, her activities include fishing, botany, carpentry, cooking food, or weaving. She also enjoys bonfires and the outdoors in general. By the time the 7th Astral era began, Sapphire and Aurora were inseparable and were fast becoming more than just friends, both of them developing feelings for each other but not knowing how to show it. It wouldn't be until an embrace on the cold streets of Ishgard that they would finally confess their feelings for one another and become romantically involved. This would last through the Doman/Ala Mhigan liberation.

When Aurora and Sapphire were summoned to the First, as each of them took on the sin eaters, both noticed changes in each other that showed tainting from the beings of light. One night, Sapphire journeyed out alone and never returned, leaving Aurora alone. She continued on her own, letting Sapphire's memory rest, and would continue to live life day by day.
