Alexia Koston was born Ulaan to the Dotharl tribe on the Azim Steppe, so named for in past lives she would often return to the tribe covered in enemy blood. She constantly strived to be the best warrior, not only of the Dotharl or Au Ra but in the entire world. She noted however that failure was an important aspect of growth and found it wasteful that those of her tribe would rather die in battle than learn from their mistakes and make the whole even stronger. These views put her at odds with her tribe, ultimately leading to her abandonment of it. She was confident in her ability to prosper even without them, and soon after arriving in Ul’dah she joined the Immortal Flames where she quickly rose through the ranks due to her battle prowess.

Flirtatious and always ready for a good fight, it’s easy to tell how the Au Ra is feeling based on her body language and voice. She’s also very outgoing, quite the opposite of her husband. After meeting and getting to know him, Ulaan admired his ability to survive and keep pushing forward despite the hell he’d gone through. She saw in Dovah’a potential, saying the “sky was the limit” for him. When she proposed marriage to him they chose to throw off the shackles of their past, with him taking the name Sky and her Alexia while their last name became Koston in honor of their meeting on a beach.
