Sable Night was a rogue with a love of acrobatics, adventure, and story-telling. Her head was full of fantasies of living life as a free Miqo'te, rescuing those who needed saving from within the shadows of dusk.
For a long while, she was content- training with Jacke and the Rogues Guild to be a real rapscallion. She grew very fond of the pirate prince but knew he was in love with another, V'kebbe. Still, she admired him and grew close to the others as well, making La Noscea her new home away from the forests of Gridania. She even made fast friends with a hyur male called Hugo who would come help on a few raids while he was in the area.
However, her time with the pirates was cut short- a high-profile murder case arose and Sable was a prime suspect. Terrified for her own life and those of her new family, she fled Limsa Lominsa and took up a new identity in Ishgard: Astraea, the fortune-teller. She dyed her easily-recognizably streaked hair, turning the rich silvery-blue hues a deep fuchsia, and wore unique face-paint to cover her sunspots. For a long while, no one suspected her and she took the time to study the stars, finding a new belief in the creators of Eorza and all the specks of life in the skies above, trying to make sense of this craziness.
She encountered there a Dark Knight working in Ishgard who was assigned to protect her as a seer - Hugo, the hyur she'd met when she was still with the Rogue's Guild, who'd come to her aid a few times in the past. She trusted him to protect her, but worried his presence would reveal her true identity.
However, in her studies as an Astrologian, Sable was forced to return to Limsa Lominsa and struggled not to tell her friends who she really was. "Astraea" was the one to speak with V'kebbe and garner her interest in the study of the stars, not Sable. It nearly broke her heart, but she knew she had to keep the act up to keep them safe- for now. Once the real culprit was brought to justice, she wouldn't have to hide anymore.
When she wasn't masquerading as an astrologian, Sable was working closely with the [redacted] family in Ishgard as the Twilit Dragoon, skilled in leaps and jumps, and thankfully covered head-to-toe in armor. Her identity would never been questioned here. XV4RYY3RLQ4XRD4GH7ASYFSHB67FTWQ7
