Meet Hon:
A scholar of The First who narrowly 'survived' the initial wave of light... with the side effect of becoming a light warden. After a rather thorough murdering of her entire clan and several travelers, she was finally 'contained'. - While a temporary 'fix' was found, keeping hon in a rather human-esque-shape, she struggles with the constant hunger of her sin-eater affliction. In an attempt to allow the light to leave her naturally (so long as she resists her urges) Hon was stuffed through a portal to be sent to her current home.

Still coping with the trauma of her previous family's demise, Hon has dedicated herself to protecting as many people as she can in the time she has left. She's unsure if her demise will be natural or a reversion to her monstrous sin-eater form.
The girl has a building hunger and need to consume others which she sates through constant drinking of Ethers - not as potent as what she truly desires but no lives need to be ruined to feed her.
Given the cost of high-grade Ethers and her need to drink these constantly, Hon is nearing poverty so will take just about any job she's qualified for, no matter the risk. This has gotten her into some awkward situations in the past, but the little dragon has always pulled through.
Over the course of her transformation, Hon has found that her tongue has become more sensitive to flavors and touch: meaning her hunger is only worsening now that her body rewards constant consuming of food and ether: or putting anything in her mouth, really.
Hon is easy to bribe if she's given hope of a cure: leading to occasional manipulation given her trusting and pure nature.
A small part of Hon is in denial about her situation: still telling herself she's mostly human and may even get better. As her desperation grows, she's becoming willing to do stranger tasks for even a chance at reverting her change.
