Hotel Eorzea's Second Fashion Show!

Hotel Eorzea hosted their second Fashion Show with the creatively challenging theme of Imperial Ambitions chosen by last week’s winner, Asa Kulua! Contestants were allowed to choose between Garlean, Allagan, and Ronkan empires. We had four participants put their glamour skills to the test representing the empires.

This week’s judges, Asa Kulua and Mara Magdala, previous winners of Fashion Shows themselves, were just as challenged to choose the winners as all participants brought their A-game! And choose they did, having to call in a special guest judge, Nova Raion, to help break the tie Asa and Mara found themselves in. In the end, the rankings were as follows:

In first place, Andar Wrothbone, representing the Garlean Empire, stole the show with their Zenos yae Galvus themed glam; careful capturing the character’s confident contempt in an itty bitty package! Their attention to detail with adding the Garlean Third Eye really helped seal the deal for this perfectly executed glam.


In second place, Suzu Himaa, representing the Garlean Empire, and blending inspiration from Gauis van Balesar and Lucia goe Junius, stunned in a well coordinated glam. Suzu skillfully using different set pieces, achieves cohesion between the two different characters; wowing the judges with their creativity.


In third place, Macaya Tabito, representing the Garlean Empire, also utilizing different set pieces to convey the Garlean flavor, placed by an effectively used helm to emphasize the theme.


This week’s honorable mention went out to Lohn Schuld! For their first ever glam, their Ronkan Astrologian impressed with creative uses of their set pieces. The whole of Hotel Eorzea is looking forward to Lohn’s participation in future events!


Unfortunately, we did have a member that was unable to participate due to being unable to obtain their last glam piece needed for their rendition of a female Emet Selch in time for the competition. Although, all judges and participants agree, if Gabbi Macnabb was able to participate, the contest would have been exponentially more difficult to judge!


For our Judge’s Showcase, Asa Kulua impressed in with her Ronkan Red Mage and Mara Magdala dazzled with her eye for detail with her Garlean Scholar, making sure that the Grimore contained enough magitek containers to power her healing!


With Andar announced as the winner, they will move to the Judge’s panel and they’ve chosen the theme of Super Heroes vs Supervillains! Participants are allowed to represent their favorite hero, villain or create their own original character. Hotel Eorzea is gearing up and looking forward to another creatively glamorous show!
