I'm so tired of getting the 90000 error. That and the 1017 error. I love this game. Its amazing! But come on square enix don't release things that aren't fully ready!
The game itself was fully ready their servers were not ready for the amount of people.
Thats what I meant. I mean yeah they are trying to fix it and have said by some time this week we should be good to go but still I hate it. It always kicks me off right when I entire a dgn or something important like that.
Well seeing this is a server based game Taelon that means it was not ready. MMO's are the worst offenders. The should have been better prepared or had a longer open beta. I'm not going to make excuses for them man.
what can you say, they estimated the expected player base way smaller than what they got. This is why Wednesday (JP time) they will be taking stuff down to expand the data centers and allow for more servers and more players. Weekend was going to be a disaster, we all saw it comming
@Jay Longer open beta would not have helped, they stress tested the servers as was needed, found and fixed the major problems that could be. There is no fix other than waiting for new hardware when player base exceeds what the data center can take
lol I feel ya I just hit 20 on my arcanist and was starting to get into my crafting and got booted. Eh I know it'll be all worked out by next week plus they are adding a free week to everyone.

Yeah because of the problems which is more than most MMO's I can say when they've been down or really buggy for a few weeks after patches or expansions they just tell you to suck it up with no free time.
Yeah... So SE isnt completly evil... but still would rather pay and play then have free time I cant use xD

Koga, yes it would have my friend. If they had a longer open beta you could have an idea on the amount of users that you would have. That seems to be the issue, we are not talking about bug fixes dude. They were overwhelmed or so they say by the sheer amount of people that were playing. If you had an open beta that encompassed these last couple of weeks they would have seen this coming. This would have allowed them to put these new servers in play before release.
