A blade shatters against a shield. Soon afterwards a small bloody body is tossed off of a ship into the sea. Drifting with the current the little blonde continued to float facing the clear blue sky. Slowly he felt what it was like to die. The tiny Lalafell only had one thought on his mind as the ocean tugged at his body:
"I want to live... Guardians, Demons.. anything that is listening, please, I do not want to die. Gods how I fear the sea. Don't let me die here and be swallowed up by the darkness of its depths. I will do anything to be saved.. just don't let me die in these hollow waters.."
Silence follows as his sight leaves him and a numbness washes over his entire body. Quickly his mind drifts into what feels like a slumber and soon the illusion of death takes his mind.
The little Lalafell wakes up suddenly, no longer is he sinking into the sea but instead is kneeling in the sands of a vast desert. Behind him is the roar of the ocean as it clashes against the shoreline. For a brief moment he sits there in a daze before realizing that he is still alive. Looking down at his wounds he finds that they have stopped bleeding. Not knowing how he still lives the tiny Lalafell slowly stands and begins to walk into the desert. Climbing up a steep hill he finally reaches the top overlooking a vast area that previously was concealed from his sight. Off in the distance he witnesses the struggle of a large city as it attempts to fight off foreign invaders. Smoke rouse from within its walls as flames continued to spread amongst the buildings. For several minutes the little blonde watched the scene unfold. Finally he spoke out loud of the realization he had:
"I have been saved by Rhalgr, the Destroyer. It is he that has spared my life so that I might serve his cause. I see now what he wants me to do and I swear that I will fulfill it. I will take up arms and destroy the enemy I shall meet upon the future battlefield. This is why I now exist..."
With that he turns and begins to follow the shoreline, leaving behind the battle for the city of Ala Mhigo.
