I’ve an affinity toward healing and support roles, however, the expectation of being capable enough in those roles and still dealing damage has led me to explore new outlets. Having said that, old school White Mage and that style of healing will always be my preference with the exception being Sage. If ever I’m on your party in any of the other three healing jobs, my priority is to keep everyone alive. If I’m rolling as a DPS job, I’ll do my best to not pull enemy aggro off of the tank(s). I have to confess, however, that either I’m over doing it, some tanks just aren’t doing enough when grouped with me, or there’s some internal schematics within the game that need to be adjusted. Either that or BRD, SMN, and RDM are more OP than people are willing to admit. It’s easier to just label them as the “easiest” jobs to learn to play, I guess.
