No matter what defensive cool downs you use that meteor attack will take 80% of your health away. I did kill it three times, the first two times it was hard to do since people kept pulling adds while we were trying to kill it n shit. The third time I just flew around n saw it on a tiny island as you can see. He was faster to kill since no adds were there.
Nope, it's an exploratory mission. The Diadem normal. Dino island is where we spawned him the first two times.
They drop loot for you too. If you don't want them you can trade it in for spoils to purchase materias, including grade V. Along with purified Coke and the Pegasus mount. Though gear is item level 210 if you're lucky
