Fujin is a adventurer that once lived in the far east. He had fled from his homeland so that he may escape the monster that plagued it.
A monster that has been rumored to have existed even before the world was born.
The gigantic and demonic 8 headed serpent, Orochi.
When his fiancé, Sakuya, was to be sacrificed to the serpent, in anger, he railed all the men from his village and marched into Orochi's lair to end it's dark rule over the land and save Sakuya.
But... in the end, he failed. The men were all killed, Sakuya was devoured by Orochi in front of his eyes, and it had sent it's minions to destroy his village and kill the remaining villagers.
Overcome by sorrow and despair, he fell to his knees, awaiting for Orochi to kill him. However, the serpent spares him and gave him an offer.
Form a blood pact with it and they both will receive immeasurable dark powers and together, rule all of Hydaelyn.
In shock and horror. He fled Orochi's lair and than his homeland, not wanting anymore lives to suffer.
Eventually, he had came and settled in Eorzea, hoping to to live a new life as a adventurer.
HOWEVER... before he fled from his homeland, he was, unknowingly, cursed by Orochi.
This curse will allow it to haunt him in his dreams, forever demanding him to form a blood pact with the accursed serpent.
And soon, Orochi will come to Eorzea, and will plagued the realm like it did in his homeland.
Truly, Fujin is forever cursed to have the past haunt him.
