How to get player commendations :)

Hello,
Player commendations are not difficult to get but here are some help I can give you.
1- The first thing you have to know is that you can find many different kinds of players in dungeons, raids and trials. There are those who talk a lot and those who don't.
The first type of player will try to have fun and won't care too much about little mistakes. The second type of player will surely rush to finish the trial and will only talk to help you go with his rythm.
Sometimes, you will find a mix of those two in the instance. The only thing you should do is to know your job well and talk sometimes.
2- The second thing you have to know is that a creative glamour and Emote can really help. literally Get their eyes on you! ( the positive way XD) when everyone is on stand by, bring a /dance Emote or even a /bombdance.
(I am reworking my glamour for now because I tried going into dungeons without and...lol)
3- The third and most important thing, stay until the end. Don't go first but wait until everyone is gone before leaving the instance.
If you really are farming commendations, I suggest that you go into raids and trials with a Full party. Not a pre-made party, you will get nothing :)

Also, it helps if you are a tank or healer. I think a lot of people just give them to those two jobs by default... As a DPS though, those are some good tips. Definitely being social and trying to have fun and be silly really helps too. Remember when we almost wiped in Fractal that one time and the tank yelled "TACTICAL RETREAT!" and we all had a good laugh, Spica? lol Anything you can do to enhance the enjoyment of the others in the party will improve your chances of winning commendations.

Yeah playing as a Tank or a healer is also a good way to get commendations :)
Even the best way because, in a party, the healer will give a commendation to the tank or the Bard (me XD), the Two DPS will give to the healer or the Tank and the Tank will give to the healer...Hard to get a commendation as a DPS. :/
I often give commendation to DPS who remembers to fire the limit break and contribute to tips pre-boss fight. When the dungeon gets difficult, having good DPS makes a big different. Tank can only do so much.
For DPS you can give tips on fights if any players are new and be lively during dungeons (in a good way), I always give my commendation to whoever made me remember their name (I have bad memory with names) the most through either making me laugh or impressing me.
When they have names like "Y'telavihia fredoragora" (I just ivented that name :)), it's difficult to reach them in game and to remember. I think they do that on purpose XD
I guess it depends on who you are. I was going to say this entire post is BS, but I realized that may not be true for you. I don't give comms based on "clever" emotes or glamour. Bad player is bad, regardless of how talkative they are or how cute their toon. I have done many runs where no one got my comm. I give it out to dps as often as healers or tanks. I just look for players that are good at their job. Being overly talkative 8s actually less likely to get you a comm from me.
Like I said, there are many kinds of players and you must be around the second type I mentioned; but knowing your job and being friendly in dungeons are important. Having a cute glamour and throw some emotes sometimes is a plus :)
By default, I give commendation to either the healer or the tank. But more often than not the player I want to commendation for leaves. So someone else winds up getting it.
I tend to give commendation to people who also mention they're new to a dungeon and are able to listen and handle themselves accordingly.
Receiving commendations as a Dps is more rewarding just because you really had to earn it. Like stated before a lot of players give commendations to healers and tanks by default and it's hard to receive them as a Dps, especially when you know what you're doing.

Another thing I noticed is people LIE!!!
I was in a dungeon and this guy was like "10 more player commendations until I become a mentor!!" so we all were nice, and gave him one, I got him in a trial two days later '10 COMMENDATIONS UNTIL I BECOME A MENTOR!!"" I still gave him one :D
