Note: I find myself wanting to express my opinions on several topics and I think this is the place to be. My opinions are personal thoughts (and are not a critique), which I am not claiming to be right nor wrong. I am not expecting comments, otherwise I would have went to the official forum. In the event that there would be, I honor and respect everybody else’s opinion, though I’d prefer a healthy conversation over that of a heated debate.

Some FFXIV players have mixed reactions regarding the delay of Endwalker release and other contents from LLP 67.

I am one of those who have to reschedule time-off from work. It will not be easy but I think I will be able to do so. My empathies to the others who will be on a bind. I also understand why the delay have to be called. Just like life, there are things in game development that can really get out of control or not foreseen.
My reaction to the launch trailer will be next week.
It would seem that an underworld will be the final area of the expansion. In the trailer, the narrator Emet-Selch (real name Hades like that of the Greek god of the underworld) said where souls rest you will find your truth. Pandemonium, is set as capital of hell in the epic poem Paradise Lost. Asphodel, where the name the first tier of the high end raids was derived, is a flower associated with death and the Greek underworld.
The new feature about some of the NPCs walking along with you, like companions, seems a nice idea. I’m curious as to how it will actually work and the information we apparently can get in the interactions.
I find the UI change for spearfishing a bit hilarious, however, I think I would prefer this over the way teeming waters currently works.
I’m a bit sad that job quests are not back. It’s one the reasons I level up all the jobs. I mean, we wouldn’t have the magnificent DRK storyline if not for these job quests.
I am no PvP player, though I’m rank 49 for immortal flames due to Moogle Mogtrove events, I look forward to Crystal Conflict. The retroactive technique in the new rewards system will allow players not to FOMO if concentrating on other contents.
Some of the items that I wish there were more information are that of island sanctuary, how many servers are there in the Oceania Materia data center, and the improvements of the glamour system (please let there be additional plates).
