How To Fix Lobby Error 2002

I'm having problems on Jenova too. So annoying.
I've found that selecting "Data Center" will allow you to log in but the "continue" option persists with the error.

There Is An Maintenance coming soon anyways Later today. hopefully the problem will be fixed.
If this is a still a problem for people I might have found the solution. No current forum seems to be created on this issue as of June 2017.
Error 2002 has to do with congestion, account problems or router port forwarding.
After purchasing the newest DLC my FFXIV launcher downloaded what I thought was the updated DLC, which is was not.

Had this Lobby Error 2002 in the year 2019 woo, also happened during a live stream double woo.

I've got that too, nearly at the end of the Praetorium Dungeon... around 16:40 gmt+1

Belge mais chez Voo, pas Proximus :/ Le soucis s'est réglé chez moi après avoir acheté et installé Shadowbringer, que je n'avais pas avant. Si ça ne s'est pas encore réglé, j'espère que ça ira après la maintenance de demain matin.

error 2002 after I moved to a new place with new internet...
why is this error still a thing SE
Nothing with my setup has changed. I've checked everything and I keep getting 90002 and 2002 when I try logging back in. This isn't the first time it's happened either. I don't remember the fix I used either, but I'm going to try reinstalling after making sure my HUD/UI are backed up. Hopefully that'll fix it. :\
since 3 days i got exactly the same problem as Selune Yomi
keep trying until im logged in works sometimes
Tried : firewall off, anti virus system off, restart router, restart PC - nothing helped
