Continued: part 2
Leaving that fire deathtrap house of horrors, our expanded group made our way back to the main fairy village to pick up the twins. The poor dears looked sufficiently tormented from all the Fairy jobs they had to do. I wanted to feel sorry for them but THEN I remembered all those times those two interrupted my spa treatments. Yeah, they DESERVED it, HA!
Feo Ul: "Sigh, my fellow pixies can be so cruel."
Anna: "Yeah? At least they weren't made to have to read books to find out about this place, now THAT's cruelty."
MDP: "AGAIN with the books! Girl, face it, they are ALWAYS going to be in your life!"
Anna: "Not if I can help it!"
YM: (comes in) "Miss Annabel, pardon me, I thought heard something about books and...oh, what is this? (looks at MDP curiously.) Um, hello, I"m Minfilia, are you a friend of Annabel's"
MDP: (Does a double take at Young Minnie) "What in all Hells is going ON here? Did you say MInfilia?"
Anna: "Oh great, JUST what I need. Yes Dragon, that IS Minfilia, a younger version of her to help the people here. DON'T ask, I DON'T know why. Dear, this here is Midgardsomr, an ancient grumpy dragon spirit recruited to help yours truly with well.....stuff."
MDP: (looks annoyed) "I am NOT grumpy, and I am NOT here to help, I am here to guide her, which if you ask me is an insurmountable task."
Anna: "See, grumpy!"
YM: "Well, it's nice to meet you Mid....er, that name is kind of a mouthful."
Anna: "Yeah it is, I just call it Dragon to make it easier."
MDP: "My name is NOT a mouthful, you Hyur just can't say it right most of the time!"
YM: "You know, it DOES kind of look like a Fairy Dragon. Oh dear, you won't steal from us will you?"
Feo Ul: "See, even the young lass knows not to trust the thing! Don't worry dear, ol Feo Ul is keeping an eye on it!"
MDP: (snorts flame) "REALLY!"
Anna: "Oh come ON, he's not THAT bad. Don't worry your cute little head dear, I won't let him steal anything."
YM: (Nods) "Ok Miss Annabel, I'll let you get back to your writing." (Gives MDP an unsure look then leaves.)
MDP: "I'm sooooo going to get my revenge on you for that."
Anna: "Yeah, well add it to the list then of all the OTHER things that I annoy you about, I am sure it is VERY long."
MDP: "Girl, you have NO idea."
We still had to figure out what to DO about that Lightwarden. I mean it was in that castle and there was NO way to get in it.....Ok, let me change that. There WAS a way according to Uri, but according to the pixies it involved retrieving four relics from each of the Fae tribes which would allow little ol me to open the doors and deal with their little problem.
Um, EXCUSE ME, If they wanted this thing GONE, why oh WHY didn't all the Fae, oh I don't know, just GIVE me the relics to BEGIN with! I mean SERIOUSLY, they were going to make me go ALL over this STUPID realm, probably doing STUPID quests to retrieve them! UGH, being a Heroine SUCKS sisters, SUCKS!
Anna: "Hey Dragon, WHY do people ALWAYS throw these annoying tasks in my way when I am TRYING to do something, you know, IMPORTANT like saving their worthless hides from extinction.
MDP: "Your asking ME? I am in agreement with you Girl, it IS pretty dumb of them to do it, but what does one expect from humanoids."
Anna: "Oh PLEASE, your stupid Dragonkin did it to me TOO! They were JUST as bad!"
Feo Ul: "Yep, NOT surprised. Faerie Dragons are KNOWN for their laziness at not wanting to do anything."
MDP: "HA! and LOOK at ALL the tasks you ridiculous Fae are putting on the Girl when she is trying to save your realm!"
Anna: "Yeah, I am SOOOOO taken advantage of by EVERYONE!"
Feo Ul: "Hmmmmmm, does she whine like this ALL the time when asked to so something?"
MDP: "Pretty much"
Feo Ul: "Yeah, my brethren are SOOOO going to enjoy taking advantage of her so they can enjoy watching her do that every time."
Well at least these Pixies had one of the relics and just gave it to me, thank the Twelve, so we only had three to find. The next one involved these underwater sprites who made your dear sister go through this underwater maze filled with all kinds of annoying things. They, of course, were no match for me including these weird bosses that looked like stupid frogs. (Seriously, they were REALLY lame looking!)
Ok, so FINALLY through this and get this Sisters, after getting the stupid piece from them, they tried to DROWN me to make me stick around! I mean COME ON, that was the SECOND time those stupid faeries tried to keep me! I was REALLY starting to get sick of it! Luckily, that turtle blessing that I had received back in turtle town, (you know, the one that lets me breathe underwater), saved my cute self and I was able to escape that mess and get back to dry land. My dress and hairstyle were RUINED though and I vowed to come back and get my revenge at a later date. (You know, there's going to be a LOT of revenge going on in these faerie lands!)
MDP: "Let me get this straight, you helped them out and they tried to KILL you?"
Anna: "Yeah, I am telling you, helping people is for suckers, NOTHING good comes from it!"
MDP: "Well I am NOT surprised, these are Fae. They have always been untrustworthy annoying bugs NEVER keeping their promises."
Feo Ul: HEY, I resent that, how DARE you say those things about us. We are VERY honorable. Did the Fauth NOT give her the relic?"
MDP: "After they tried to KILL her!"
Anna: "YEAH!"
Feo Ul: "Phhht, they were just having fun, it's what they do when they meet someone they like, try to drown them to have them stay with them."
MDP: "And that is a GOOD thing?"
Feo Ul: (sighs) "Silly Faerie Dragon, I would think YOU would understand with all the antics YOUR kind pull."
MDP: I am NOT a Faerie Dragon!"
Feo Ul: "So you keep saying, don't believe it!"
The next place was another odd village up in the hills. But we ONCE more had to deal with stupid pixie tricks! Once again Uri came to the rescue by casting a invisibility spell on me which allowed me to avoid them. (You know, I REALLY hate to say it, but now there is a Scion who is ACTUALLY useful! I am shocked Sisters, SHOCKED!)
Anna: "Hey Feo UL, WHY do those stupid pixies keep picking on me? I thought we had a pact and all that, Can't you DO something now that your....."
Feo Ul: "Shhhhhh, DON'T say anything NOW silly branch, you're not there yet! And as for your answer, they were just having fun, you know man things are very rare in our lands."
Anna: "Yeah and I can SEE why! Honestly, they are lucky I did not do my OWN swatting with my wand!"
Feo Ul: "I am SHOCKED!, that Faerie Dragon must be rubbing off on you, you need to dump that thing somewhere."
Anna: "Believe me I wish I could!"
MDP: "Wait, what are you two talking about? I tuned both of you out."
Feo Ul: "Typical!"
Anna: "Good, just KEEP doing that so I can write!"
This new village, Pla Enni, was filled with these odd fae called Mu Nou which KIND of reminded me of well.....dogs. (I know, weird, RIGHT?) At least they were VERY friendly and quite happy to see us. They were also VERY eager to serve and do things for us, which I thought was GREAT! I was SOOOOO tempted to take advantage of this, (Ok, I can SEE you two shaking your heads!), but we were in too big a rush. But I MAY come back after all this is over and see how far I can push it! (I heard that sigh from ALL the way over HERE Adora!) The town was underground and was made of Mushrooms, VERY weird!
Even MORE weirder was HOW they wanted you to serve you. See Sisters, first the Mu Nou want you to do something for THEM, then they would serve you gladly. Sigh, you know what THAT meant; yes, MORE questing! It never ends sisters, it NEVER ends!
MDP: "Girl, you finally find things that WANT to serve you and you STILL complain? I will NEVER understand you."
Anna: "Hey, I don't want to DO things for them FIRST, they should be just GLAD to serve me!"
MDP: (sputters) "Really? Girl, every day I am amazed you have made it as far in your life as you have."
Anna: "hmmmmmm, Hey Feo Ul, is that a compliment?"
Feo Ul: "From him? I highly doubt it; Faerie Dragons ALWAYS say things that have double meanings."
Anna: "Yeah, he DOES, wow, I guess you really ARE a Faerie Dragon."
MDP: "Girl, don't start THAT again!"
