So my deviant wife Aria INSISTED I go try a club she frequents; it seems she likes to go to these things for some reason. As she is the dominant one in this marriage, my whining and cries of protest fell on deaf ears; so I got a new clubbing outfit and off I went!
It was on Siren and called 'Desert Rain'. It seems it was modeled to be a kind of Middle Eastern hookah bar type of place, so not your normal American nightclub. As we went around 9pm, there was barely anyone there as it is usually with going early to clubs.
As for look, it was nicely decorated with multi level seating and even a hot tub somehow suspended on a platform on the 2nd floor. (love to know how they did it). It was more of a RP/drinking kind of place rather than dancing as there were not many areas to do that.
The people who ran it had a Discord page and posted pics of the patrons who were there. This is one of the ones of us.
They also took this one of me, which was REALLY good! Seriously, whoever did this has real G-pose talent, I was impressed. I really want to make a canvas print of this and frame it.
But the real reason Aria came was for the 'photo booth' where for (a LOT) of gil they will take your avatar and 'pose' them in a bunch of special poses. IE: photos! They can even put you in non game outfits, though we did not do that.
(Sadly, I had to remove the photo booth pics from the blog due to them being modded images. Oh well, don't want to get in trouble, right? ;-) )
For even MORE gil they will do more er.......risque pictures. Yes people, even NAKED! :O
(My prudish self would NEVER allow that!)
While waiting we did engage in some RPing to kind of fit in with the people there, though as a bickering couple. Aria said we were probably annoying the other people there, so we only did it for a bit. (Hey RPing, is RPing! We were just doing what we USUALLY do when we are around one another! LOL )
All in all it was kind of an interesting evening. Will I do it again? Maybe if I am bored, though next time I would want to go to a place with room to really dance.
