Believe It Or Not, This Two Piece Is Pretty Warm

Public
And it allows me to handle the cold of Coerthas in style. After Guillaime the Inquisitor did his trolling to interrupt good faith proceedings at the local infirmary at Whitebrim Front, old Cid Garlond asked me next to his newly crafted alembic, "Lady Harukawa, why are you dressed like you are going for a tan at the Mist?" (By the way, speaking of that, I mooched for some Blue Octopus to get to Fisher Level 30.)

I simply replied, "It's the power of the Glamour system, Lord Garlond."

"The Glamour System?" he asked. "What is this system you speak of?"

"The Glamour System allows adventurers like myself to do work in any outfit I choose, with certain yet understandable limitations. So, for example, I am wearing a taffeta shawl and a tanga in my preferred shade of pastel pink, but I am actually wearing a full outfit that allows me to keep my stats while wearing next to nothing!"

"Good heavens, by the Twelve!" says Cid. "How did you acquire such a skill?"

"I crafted a storm of items as a Goldsmith, then reached a level in my progression where I could go to Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona to get a tome to use recipes and also buy the clear prisms to craft and some Emperor's New Gear items to make a good deal of my gear invisible."

"A lot of coin, I would imagine," he says, shaking his head.

"Well, that's why I rely on other adventurers to support my ongoing efforts to be an ambassador to my Free Company and buy my items on the market! I offer competitive prices with a 'one gil cheaper than the cheapest' policy, not including mandated taxes by the city-states."

"That's what people in your dimension call a paywall, correct?"

"Yes. Prisms are expensive, and since I have only one class where I can craft these things, I have to buy prisms that are craftable by leatherworkers, alchemists, weavers at the level my goldsmith is in, 50...I am five levels away from being able to craft this but I will need a ton of felt."

"So, are you going to be heading back to Limsa, then?"

"That's where I live because they got the best beach in Eorzea. I'll be back, only if I am needed to do work."

"Gods bid you well, woods will be done." And Cid looked on as I teleported back to the docks of Limsa before retiring to the Mizzenmast to rest while waiting for more buyers. I have a ton of classic spectacles still lying about. One purchase will result in a storm of prisms I can use. The sooner those go off my retainers' hands, the faster I can get my glamouring done and return to the usual stuff.

Any mere mortal would freeze to death wearing what I currently wear as a white mage. I am different. So different, in fact, that Ryouichi chose to sit my recent quests out because he was too overwhelmed by my appearance. Either that, or I simply forgot his greens. But he's so bashful, Ryouichi. Sometimes I wonder about the possibility and potential of Cecilia being able to body slam random monsters like a regular companion, a fat chocobo that is a fat bottomed girl with one life to live...and a ton of love to give.
