I got a logitech G13 for MMOs in general, and i've been playing around with the set up for FF14
I think this is the set up i'm going to try to go for
I have Ctrl/Alt because i set hotbar 2 to CTRL, and hotbar 3 to ALT, meaning i have access to 3 bars on the fly
I also use a Razer Naga for my mouse, with the num pad on the thumb area, having access to everything is nice!
I've got a naqa hex too but i'm not used to assign numbers to skills, i found it unconfortable, i prefer the numbers, i use those buttons for other purposes cause i usually mis-skill xD
It's really all muscle memory, i have used it enough when i was on GW2 so i know exactly where the buttons are without looking now :)
I really havent paid much attention to it, but i dont think it actually supports FF14 yet, but you can make it do macros if you want... but i never actually look at the G13 when i'm playing anyways.
Theoretically the G13 can store profiles for on the go. You may need a PC to set it up but I would think afterwards it would work on a PS4 or it may need an extra piece of hardware. I recall reading something about people using them on PS3 this way.
