I fish again. I started with Azim Steppe for botanist leves, and after finishing those I began fishing in the river outside of Reunion. I've never fished in the Azim Steppe before, so all these places are new.
The river flowing outside the encampment is called Nem Khaal. My new fish were Dawn Crayfish, Othardian Trout, and Zagas Khaal. I caught 3 Dawn Crayfish, 2 Othardian Trout, and 2 Zagas Khaal for a total of 7 fish, 3 new ones. I wished to discover more places so I headed upstream.
Nem Khaal connects into Hak Khaal, and I fished alongside a spear fisher. My new fish were Dusk Crayfish, Dry Steppe Skipper, and Curtain Pleco. I caught 1 Dusk Crayfish, 2 Dry Steppe Skipper, and 3 Curtain Pleco, for a total of 6 fish and 3 new. I saved the 3 Curtain Pleco for a levequest.
I headed more upward to the moat under The Dawn Throne, the Azim Khaat. I caught a Hardscale and Sun Bass. I ended with 2 Sun Bass and 1 Hardscale. 2 new and 3 total.
South of The Dawn Throne's moat is Lower Yat Khaal, where I caught a Yat Goby, Jade Sculpin, and Steppe Skipper. 1 Steppe Skipper, 1 Jade Sculpin, and 3 Yat Goby for a total of 5 fish and 3 new.
I found some teeming waters in the moat and got out my spear to fish. I snagged (4) Dotharli Gudgeon, (2) Steppe Bullfrog, (2) Dawn Herald, (2) Dusk Herald, (2) Calvary Catfish, and (1) Flamefish for a total of 13 fish and 6 new ones for spearfishing in the Azim Khaat Western Lakebed.
Putting away my spear, I followed the river spawning west of the moat- Tao Khaal. I caught 1 new fish, a Bowfish. I caught a total of 3 overall, a Dusk Crayfish and a Dry Steppe Skipper being the other two.
With two spots to go, I went to the lake in Sadu's home- the Dotharl Khaa. I caught Nhaama's Boon and Brassfish. 2 fish and 2 new ones!
I actually have no idea where that last one is. I flew all over, in caves, and not so much a drop of water anywhere else. I headed back to the moat to finish up spearfishing.
In the Azim Khaat Eastern Lakebed, I caught (10) Fickle Krait, (3) River Clam, (7) Grass Shark, (9) Redfin, and (2) Glaring Perch. A total of 5 new fish and 31 overall. I kept the Redfin for another levequest.
But yeah, according to my guide, there's still an undiscovered hole and spearfishing place, but I looked EVERYWHERE! I'm genuinely at a loss. Regardless, it was a pretty successful day of fishing, 70 fish overall and 25 new ones! I turned in my 9x Redfin and 3x Curtain Pleco for leves too. 21/110! The 25 new fish takes from 23% of the log done to 24%.
