Compilation of Hunt InformationI’ve written a few various guides for my FC-mates which I will share here! If you’re a seasoned hunter, this is probably all old news, but here we go!
So what is this Hunt business? What is an A rank, or a train, and why should I care?First things first. You must complete a series of quests before you'll be able to reap all the benefits of hunt monsters. These quests are as follows:
You must be a Disciple of War or Magic level 50 and Second Lieutenant. To become Second Lieutenant, you'll need to complete your GC hunt log (same log as your class hunt log), among other things.
Maelstrom StartTwin Adder Start Flames StartHeavensward Hunts Stormblood HuntsSo now that I have these quests unlocked, what now?Now you can reap the benefits of hunts! You may see FC members or hunt shells members posting things about A, S Ranks and Hunt Trains! All you have to do is go to the posted location and wait for them to pull and kill the monster
(DO NOT PULL EARLY!). Then you'll either receive Allied Seals or Centurio Seals, depending on the hunt, these can be used to buy a variety of items! You will also receive the appropriate Tomestones according to your level, it's a really easy stressfree way to cap Genesis!

For Poetics, you can buy gear to turn in for seals,
Demicrystals to use in the Doman Enclave,
Haurchefant Portraits, or
Unidentifiable Ore to turn into
Grade 3 Thanalan Topsoil by giving it to
Bertana in Idyllshire. There's now Grade VI materia too!
What about Goetia...?There's a few orchestration rolls, but what you REALLY want, is to buy the crafting materials. Check the marketboard to see what sells the best or use them to commission a crafter to craft i450 gear.
