Fun fact: When using a clothing piece, the game swaps it out completely from the body part that was there before Think of a lego piece, switching it out for another one on a lego figure.
THIS is why some body pieces make you have bigger boobs, like the bodice, Minfilia's outfit, Alma's outfit, etc. The body shape, IE: big boobs, is part of the fashion piece. Same idea for legs, arms, hands, feet.
Note: Lala's are different and have different rules, which is why they don't get boobs. LOL

Oh you're already one of "us" aren't you Bayonetta. Anna and I both spend far too much on outfits, we both bought the fairy tale princess set for the heels and nothing else. Although we have gotten some mileage out of the skirt i suppose.
Excuse me woman? That skirt is AWESOME, but those heels are Sex, sooooo good and satisfying fashion wise. . ;-) Seriously, the princess dress is worth it for those heels alone. And if you ever turn into a Lala, the dress looks awesome on them.
And B. That Bodice IS worth the money. The skirt is actually kind of nice too if dyed well. Those shoes though, BLEH!
Oh, and the Frontier dress also will give you a decent rack. LOL At least you can buy that on the market board.
