There was something unsettling about the lalafell, even among her own kind. She had a strange fascination with the Miqo'te, a race of cat people who were known for their graceful movements and agile bodies. The lalafell, whose name was Melonpan, couldn't quite put her finger on what it was about the Miqo'te that drew her in. All she knew was that she wanted to be near them, to watch them, to study them. At first, Melonpan’s fascination with the Miqo'te was harmless. She would spend hours watching them from afar, taking note of their habits and behavior. But as time went on, Melonpan’s obsession grew stronger. She couldn't shake the feeling that she needed to be closer to the Miqo'te, to possess them in some way. It wasn't long before Melonpan’s desire for the Miqo'te turned deadly. She began stalking them, watching for any opportunity to get close. And when the opportunity presented itself, Melonpan struck. She would sneak up on the unsuspecting Miqo'te and strike quickly, taking their lives before they even knew what was happening. But Melonpan didn't stop there. She was a serial killer, and she had a strange ritual that she followed with each of her victims. She would carefully remove their tails, which were a symbol of pride and status among the Miqo'te, and add them to her collection. Melonpan kept the tails in a hidden room in her home, where she would visit them often and admire her handiwork. As the bodies of the Miqo'te began to pile up, the people of Eorzea grew more and more frightened. They whispered about the "Miqo'te killer" and wondered who could be committing such terrible crimes. But Melonpan was careful and kept her identity hidden, moving from town to town and always staying one step ahead of the authorities. It wasn't until a group of adventurers stumbled upon Melonpan’s secret room that she was finally caught. When they found the grisly collection of Miqo'te tails, they knew they had found the serial killer they had been searching for. Melonpan was arrested and thrown in prison, where she spent the rest of her days behind bars, locked away from the Miqo'te that she had coveted for so long.
