While waiting for IRL friends who can't play very often to come back online, I started doing the crafting classes.
I love Weaver but at the same time it makes me want to jump off a bridge... I wish Blacksmith was a little more useful because the drunken guild master is quite entertaining...
Been working on Culinarian and Leatherworker over the last couple days. The quests for these classes are both really underwhelming and predictable though. I wish more of the Culinarian quests had been me serving quirky as hell customers at the Bismark so there could have been rowdy throwing-the-rejected-patrons-into-the-ocean scenes. As it stood, only this Roe guy bothered to be even remotely engaging. I worried for a second if I didn't bring him his kebabs he was just going to eat me.
I was loving Leatherworker at the beginning because of Geva's awesome insults and the ensuing hilarious emotes. (I will wag my tail for you anyyyyy dayyyy Geva!) but since she's stopped insulting me, this class has gotten a lot less fun. Why couldn't she have been a little more tsun-tsun all the way to the end? (Why did I like her better when she hated my guts? Masochistic, ha ha.)
Finished Carpenter and Goldsmith a while back. The entire second portion of the Carpenter quest line can be summed up by the third picture... I can't tell what there was more of, subtext or melodrama. Butttttt Gairhard's kind of a badass, so I can see where you're coming from bro.
I'm just gonna leave that last screen cap there. I still can't decide what the best part of that entire ending cutscene for Goldsmith was. Too much hilarious crap in a two minute span.
