Well, as I can say, Yokai-Watch event is a nightmare because it will last for 3 months. But don't worry, because it's a nightmare, I want to wake up from it as soon as possible. Hope some tips here will help you in future.

This event has 2 mounts. First mount is for collecting 13 minions, 2nd one is for collecting 13 weapons. To collect the rewards, you need to go to [Old Gradiana], talk to Jonathas <Master of Rolls> (X10.6,Y6.5) near Y'mhitra.
First mount doesn't glow, 2nd one will be glowing.

BASIC RULES:
1. Go to Ul'da - Step of Nald to get the quest from Poor-heeled youth npc, then go to Gold Saucer to talk to Nohi (near Mini Cactpot place). After that, you will get Yokai Watch + Yokai Medallium.

2. Always wear "Yokai Watch" while doing FATEs at any place to get normal Yokai medals. Normal medals are for exchanging 13 minions. First minion costs 1 medal to exchange at Nohi, I recommended you to exchange for "Jibanyan" minion.

3. Call out JIBANYAN minion first, you need to call minion out to get Legendary Medals from FATEs (that medal is for exchanging to weapons).

Open Yokai Medallium to check locations to get Legendary Medals for JIBANYAN. Each minions has 3 different locations so choose the one with many FATEs. I chose Central Thanalan.

**Note: each time you exchange minions and weapons, the requirement for medals will increase, exchange them wisely. First weapon costs 7 Legendary Medals while last weapons costs 30 Legendary medals.

MY PLAN:
From information I got on internet and Yokai Medallium locations, this is what I do to buy 13 minions in order, farming Legendary Medals for 13 weapons in some specific places. You can use them as reference or example. The numbers here are all Legendary Medals I got while summoning specific minions.

_ Central Thanalan: 7, Shogunyan, 9 Jibanyan, 30 Komajiro (this place has many FATEs and people do that so I got a lots)
_ Middle La Noscea: 15 USApyon
_ South Shroud: 11 Manjimutt, 15 Hovernyan, 15 Whisper
_ Central Shroud: 15 Kyubi, 15 Venoct
_ North Shroud: 15 Noko, 15 Blizzara, 30 Robonyan
_ East Shroud: 30 Komasan

From counting normal Yokai medals, I think you guys must do at least 500+ FATEs to get all those minions + weapons... So endure the pain and don't fall asleep XD


***TIPS FOR DOING FATES

1. From the photo I uploaded, you can see clearly yellow button on right hand side " Level Sync". You can use it wisely:

+ only click that button when you arrive a safe place to fight

+ if you nearly die, click that button so your level is unsynced, wait a bit for HP to recover then hit that button again to continue the FATE

+ when normal mobs around interrupt you doing the FATEs, just click that button to unsync, kill them all and sync back.
I recommend you before you do FATEs, clear all the surrounding area so no mobs can interfere the FATEs.

2. If the FATE area is large, just use mount, don't use Sprint or run, it's slow.

3. Set the Aethryte place you're doing FATEs as home point, so if you die, you can go back there immediately. After you die, remember to call out your MINION.

4. For Collecting FATEs, you just need to deliver items and when objective is done, you can leave that FATE, no need to wait until it really ends. You still get rewards like normal.

5. Use Teleport to go from FATEs to FATEs, don't use mount to go over places because you won't get there on time. Many people are farming FATEs, they won't wait for you.

6. You can solo or party with people. Actually I solo most of the time with SAM (lv70) and I find it not hard at all.

7. If you're using Keyboard + mouse, point the mouse to each FATE to see the progress and decide which FATE you should go for. They might finish the FATE right after when you just get there. Low participation won't get Medals.
