When I started the game up for the first time I went through a few ideas with a few of the races. Here are some that I considered. Keep in mind that I never played as any other race and these were just concepts!
Hyur
This was the character I was really on the fence on when I was starting to play.
Miqo'te
I never really liked the face options I was given for Miqo'te, I made this one just to compare with the Hyur.
Old Seles!
When I decided to start the game as a Lala, this is what I originally looked like. Twintails were not an option when I created my Lala, if they were I probably would have started with them.
As you can see I really wanted my character to have dark blue hair! After a while of playing as my Lala though I realized that using a lighter blue would fit better!
And now bonus Au Ra!
I'm not gonna play as an Au Ra (or any other race, really) anytime soon, but after the 3.0 benchmark came out I was really curious about the Au Ra options! This is what I came up with and is probably what I would look like as an Au Ra!
I totally agree with you Tai! I actually went through quite a few edits to my Lala and now I think I hit the sweet spot! Or should I say the cute spot!
No matter what race you decide to stick with, I have the cutest neighbor in all of Eorzea! ^-^
