The user interface, or UI for short, refers to the various on-screen elements and menus through which a player interacts with the game. The UI in FFXIV can be adjusted in myriad ways to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.

Mastering the UI / The Configuration Menus
Both menus can be accessed by left-clicking on the System icon found at the bottom right of the screen.
They can also be acccessed via keyboard shortcuts.
Character Configuration: K
System Configuration: Ctrl+K
Both menus can be accessed by pressing the Start button (OPTIONS on PS5™/PS4™, Menu button on Xbox Series X|S) to open the main menu, then selecting the System tab.
