From the main menu, select System and open the Character Configuration menu, then select the Control Settings tab from the column on the left. Under General, there are several options that allow you to skip cutscenes you have viewed previously.
This can be helpful for players who wish to skip immediately to the beginning of boss battles or use certain transports without delay.
