It is possible to add new tabs that display only the chat log content you wish to view.
To add a new tab, select the + icon next to the text entry field.
This feature can be used to, for example, display only the messages sent between party members during a duty. Selecting that tab after entering a duty will cause only those messages to be shown.
Like the standard tabs, the settings for custom tabs can be changed from Log Filters, which is found under Character Configuration, Log Window Settings, in the General tab.
Custom tabs can be deleted by right-clicking and selecting Delete Tab.
The user interface, or UI for short, refers to the various on-screen elements and menus through which a player interacts with the game. The UI in FFXIV can be adjusted in myriad ways to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.
