Mastering the UI / Hotbars
The keyboard shortcuts for all keybinds can be changed at any time to better suit your playstyle.
From the main menu, select System to open the Keybind menu.
There are keybinds available for all aspects of the game, separated into several tabs. When you've found the keybind you wish to change, selecting it will highlight the entry field.
When the entry field is highlighted, the next key press will be registered as the new shortcut for that keybind.
The user interface, or UI for short, refers to the various on-screen elements and menus through which a player interacts with the game. The UI in FFXIV can be adjusted in myriad ways to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.
